We are looking to hire an IT auditor with an analytical mind and expertise in IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. Candidates must have knowledge of IT terms and lexicon, meticulous attention to detail and a great understanding of cybersecurity trends.
To ensure success, candidates must focus on helping businesses optimise operations and ensuring that their policies and procedures comply with current regulations. The candidate should be knowledgeable, objective, logical and detail-oriented .
Internal Auditor Responsibilities:
- Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine risk exposure, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Recording, reviewing and interpreting data to determine the effectiveness of the IT operations.
- Research discrepancies, IT operation problems, or other issues.
- Examine the records, reports, policies, procedures or other documents to ensure all the operations are aligned with regulatory guidelines or standard
- Bringing company strengths and weaknesses to the attention of management and providing advice as they develop responses or fixes for these issues.
- Generating reports and presenting findings to management or other interested parties.
- Maintaining awareness of current industry trends, technology, and developments.
- Handling additional duties and special projects to ensure the business operates efficiently and in compliance with all current regulations.
Internal Auditor Requirements:
- A degree in information technology/computer information systems or related. (essential).
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (essential).
- 2 years of work experience as an IT Auditor.
- Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer software/tools.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
